Fulmarus glacialoidesThe Antarctic fulmar, also called southern fulmar, does not breed within New Zealand's Exclusive Economic Zone. However, it is a regular visitor especially in waters to the west and south of New Zealand, during winter and spring. This species is quite distinct and misidentifications are unlikely.
